     Charles E. Sherman returned Monday last from a two months trip to the east. He stated that he was in the Temple of Music at the time that the assassin Czolgosz shot down President McKinley. While in the east he made arrangements for the sale of the Distaff, one of the rich mines of the Chloride district.
