Eden Mills [excerpt]
W. L. Bennett returned Thursday last from Buffalo. He was in the “Temple of Music” and quite near the President at the time he was shot. Bennett’s attention was attracted by a row near by [sic], which he thinks was arranged so as to draw the police’s attention away at the time of the shooting. Had it not been for that, he would have seen Czolgosz shot [sic] the President.
