State News [excerpt]

A story comes from Salisbury that one of the loyal and patriotic citizens of that town a few nights ago, after closing his eyes in slumber, had th[e] unpleasant experience to dream of the attempted assassination of President McKinley, and in the course of the dream met Leon Czolgosz, the anarchist, whom he dealt a terrific blow. Upon awakening he found that in reality he had dealt a blow at his wife’s face with damaging results.
