The proprietors of several waxworks and other exhibitions in America made desperate efforts to get the body of Czolgosz, the asassin [sic] of President M’Kinley, for exhibition. One telegraphed to the prison offering £1,000, and the propritor [sic] of a kinetoscope exhibition offered £500 to take a moving picture of the execution.
