Every assassin is a coward. On hearing that he would be torn limb from limb if the crown [sic] at Auburn got hold of him, Czolgosz begged in abject terror for the protection of the law he so despised. And his wallowing on the floor of his prison cell when he heard the shouts of the mob outside, shows the kind of stuff of which anarchists are made.
