Czolgosz Wants to Be a Cop

Brother of McKinley’s Assassin Applies for a Place on Cleveland Force.

CLEVELAND, Aug. 7.—Michael Czolgosz, brother of Leon Czolgosz, the assassin of President McKinley, has applied for a position on the police force of Cleveland.
Michael Czolgosz has taken both the mental and physical examinations for the position which he covets. He has passed the latter with flying colors, but is fearful of the results of the former.
As a specimen of physical manhood Czolgosz ranks near the top. He lacks a quarter of an inch of six feet in height, weighs 194 pounds, and is well proportioned. His muscles stand out like cords and his strength is far above the average.
