Assassin’s Weapons in Museum
Czolgosz’s Revolver and Handkerchief Given to Historical Society.
Buffalo, N. Y.—The revolver, cartridges
and handkerchief which were used by Czolgosz in assassinating President McKinley,
have been given to the Buffalo Historical Society.
District Attorney Penney hesitated for some time
as to whether it would not be better to send the important historical relics
to Washington, but finally determined on Buffalo. In accepting the relics the
Historical Society promised to guard them carefully.
