Warden Mead Flooded with Requests for Invitations to the Anticipated Electrocution.
Within an hour after the death of President McKinley, Warden Mead received application from a man who wanted to be present when Leon Czolgosz, the assassin, goes to the electric chair. Since then the requests have poured in every day. They come by telephone, telegraph and mail and many have made personal requests. Every mail brings in applications and already they number in the hundreds.
