Said He Behaved Differently from His Schoolmates.

     Victor F. Coasler, a bootblack, who has a stand near the corner of Howard and Market sts., says that he knew Leon Czolgosz, the slayer of President McKinley, well and went to school with the assassin at the Broadway school, Cleveland, some years ago.
     “Leon was always an odd boy,” said Coasler in conversation with a reporter, Wednesday morning. “When we went to school together, he seemed to like to be alone and very seldom joined in the sports of the others. He was a great reader and when ever he had a chance was continually reading the newspapers or such books as he could get hold of. I do not know the nature of the books that he seemed to like best. The boys at school regarded him as a goody sort of a boy. He was always quiet and well behaved.”
