Saw Czolgosz Sentenced
Mr. S. J. Stockard has returned from a trip to Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Toronto. While in Buffalo last Thursday, he saw the assassin Czolgosz sentenced to death. He placed himself in line among the large crowd wishing to gain an entrance to the court-room early in the day, and thereby succeeded in getting a seat. He says Czolgosz resembles his pictures published in the papers, and that his face does not look like that of a bad man. During the proceedings of the court, the assassin seemed much affected.
