Arrested Before
Implicated in a Plot to Dynamite a Priest’s House.
New York, Sept. 16.—Leon Czolgosz was arrested
six years ago at Durica [sic], Pa., charged with an attempt to blow up the house
of a Polish Catholic priest, according to a special from Scranton, Pa., to the
World.
Many sticks of dynamite, with caps and wires,
were found in his trunk. The same special says:
“When the news of President McKinley’s death was
reported the anarchists held a big jollification meeting.”
