A certain burglar who has been convicted of his crime, and wants a pardon, has “confessed” that he was Czolgosz’ accomplice; that he fastened the handkerchief on his hand, and was present at the “meeting” where Czolgosz was assigned to commit the murder. All the plute papers publish this for the truth, in spite of the fact that Czolgosz, when offered his liberty if he would accuse others, declared he had no accomplices. This is another boom for imperialism. The burglar will doubtless get his pardon.
