Speaker Henderson Names Congressmen to Attend Funeral.
Washington, September 15.—Speaker
Henderson has appointed a large committee of representatives to attend the president’s
funeral. Among the members are Richardson of Tennessee, Bankhead of Alabama,
McRae of Arkansas, Sparkman of Florida, Lester of Georgia, Smith of Kentucky,
Robertson of Louisiana, Williams of Mississippi, Dearmond of Missouri, Kitchin
of North Carolina, Elliott of South Carolina, Lanham of Texas, Swanson of Virginia,
Bodie of New Mexico and Flynn of Oklahoma.
Speaker Henderson telegraphed from New York that
he will attend the funeral.
